Dolly Sisters Makeup Kit Day Dress

Nicol & Ford is thrilled to showcase our first custom novelty print for Pink Carnation! Inspired by the “Powder, Lipstick, Rouge” sequence in The Dolly Sisters (1945), the Dolly Sisters Makeup textile reworks original 1940s makeup illustrations into a repeated novelty print in pink, red, mint and black.

This simple and chic day dress features a rounded deep “V” neckline with hook and eye closure, two-piece petal sleeves and a ruched bodice which moves into the gathered petal skirt.

Constructed in 100% silk crepe de chine.

Our fabric is printed to order at Think Positive in Alexandria, Sydney, and the garment made to order, keeping Nicol & Ford limited and sustainable.
